CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina women's soccer team is set to face the Richmond Spiders at 2 p.m. ET on Aug. 17.
Scouting Opponent
- Richmond opened the season with a dominant 5–0 win over VMI to move to 1–0–0 on the year.
- Freshman forward Emma Newman had an impressive collegiate debut, registering four goals and one assist.
- Sophomore Kingsley Hughes added the remaining goal, while graduate student Brigitte Bussiere contributed an assist.
- Sophomore goalkeeper Veronica Rrapi made eight saves on 10 shots in her debut between the pipes.
