Women’s Soccer to Host UNCW in Home Opener

CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina women's soccer team will welcome the UNCW Seahawks for its home opener at the CCU Soccer Complex on Aug. 21. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET.

The Chanticleers opened the season with a 1–0 win over Richmond in their season opener in Richmond, Va.
Tamlyn Parkes scored the game-winner in the sixth minute off an assist from Eleanor Ashton.
Goalkeeper Aris Lamanna recorded six saves on her way to the fourth shutout of her career.
Coastal currently holds a .571 shots-on-goal percentage this season.
Eefje Botjer leads the team with 90 minutes played.
Head coach Jo Chubb owns a 1-1-0 career record against UNCW.
