CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. ----- Coastal Carolina football dropped a 48-7 game to Virginia in the 2025 season opener at Scott Stadium on Saturday.
UVA held a narrow 7-0 advantage after the first quarter of action before eventually scoring 21 points in the second to take a 28-0 lead into halftime.
The Chanticleers closed out the game out gaining Virginia, 168-122, in the second half.
