LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Coastal Carolina women's soccer team suffered a 2-0 loss to the Louisville Cardinals on Sunday evening in Louisville, Ky.

The Chants fell to 1-3-0 on the season, while Louisville improved to 5-1-0.
The score remained 0-0 at halftime, with the Cardinals holding a 9-2 advantage in shots and a 2-0 edge in corner kicks.
Louisville broke the match open in the 50th minute when Taylor Morris found the back of the net to give the Cardinals a 1-0 lead.
The Cardinals added a second goal in the 81st minute courtesy of a Mackenzie Geigle finish.
Dolcie O'Connor led Coastal's offense with four shots in the match.
At the final whistle, Louisville held a 19-8 advantage in shots, a 7-1 edge in corner kicks, and both teams were even with seven fouls apiece.

The Chanticleers will stay on the road to take on the Campbell Camels on Sept. 4 at 7 p.m. ET.
