CONWAY, S.C. – Coastal Carolina baseball has added an additional game to its 2026 schedule with the announcement of a neutral-site matchup against Wake Forest Demon Deacons baseball on April 7 at Durham Bulls Athletic Park in Durham. First pitch is set for 6:30 p.m.
The game marks another chapter in a competitive series between the two programs that dates back to the late 1970s. The Chanticleers hold a 28-19 edge in the all-time series against Wake Forest and have enjoyed stretches of success, including an eight-game winning streak from 2018–22. The teams have split their last 10 matchups.
In addition to the neutral-site contest, Coastal Carolina and Wake Forest will continue their traditional home-and-home series during the 2026 season. The Chanticleers will host the Demon Deacons in Conway on March 10 before traveling to Winston-Salem for the return game on April 14.
Coastal Carolina will open the 2026 season on Friday, Feb.13, when the Chanticleers host Fairfield at Springs Brooks Stadium in Conway, S.C., with first pitch scheduled for 4 p.m.
