CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina beach volleyball team went 1-1 in the first day of the South Carolina Derby on Friday, falling 3-2 to Tampa and beating College of Charleston 4-1 in the second match. 

Coastal's record now stands at 9-10 after the first day.

Coastal will face UNCW at 11 a.m. and Erskine at 3 p.m. tomorrow in the second day from Charleston, S.C.
