WEST POINT, Miss. – The Coastal Carolina men's golf team stands in 10th place after two rounds of play at the Mossy Oak Collegiate, posting a 36-hole total of 12-over par on Monday at Mossy Oak Golf Club.

The Chanticleers opened the tournament with an 8-over 296 before improving by four strokes in round two with a 4-over 292. Coastal will enter Tuesday's final round looking to climb the leaderboard in the 19-team field.

No. 15 Ole Miss leads the tournament at 17-under par, followed by host Mississippi State at 8-under and No. 10 Vanderbilt at 5-under.

Senior Owen Kim paced the Chants through two rounds and is tied for 13th overall at 1-under par. Kim followed an even-par opening round with a 1-under 71 in round two.

Jack Lee carded a team-best 2-under 70 in the second round and is 3-over through 36 holes. Max Bengtsson sits at 4-over, while Drew Sykes is 6-over. Harrison James finished the opening two rounds at 13-over.

Coastal showed steady improvement in the second round, trimming four strokes off its opening score and moving up one position on the team leaderboard.

The Chanticleers will tee off alongside New Mexico State, Rice, and Sam Houston on Tuesday morning for the final round of the Mossy Oak Collegiate.
