CONWAY, S.C. – The No. 8 seed Coastal Carolina men's tennis team will face No. 9 seed Georgia State in the first round of the Sun Belt Conference Tournament on Thursday, April 16, in Rome, Ga.
- The Chants will open tournament play against a Georgia State team they defeated 4-2 in early April and will look to carry that momentum into postseason action.
- Coastal holds a 4-5 all-time record against Georgia State, and the two teams have met once before in the Sun Belt Conference Tournament, with the Panthers earning a 4-0 win in 2018.
- Coastal finished the regular season with an 11-10 overall record and a 1-2 mark in conference play, with its lone conference win coming against Georgia State.
- Curzio Manucci and Eric Tripathi lead the Chants in singles play, with Manucci holding a 10-6 record and Tripathi owning a 9-7 mark, while Iannis Fernandes leads the team with 10 doubles wins.
