SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina men's soccer team played to a 1-1 draw against the Wofford Terriers on Tuesday evening in Spartanburg, S.C.

With the draw, the Chants move to 1-3-3 on the season.
Coastal looked to take an early lead when Theo Butterworth's shot hit the post in the 11th minute.
Hector Blanco put the Chants on the board in the 14th minute, finding the bottom-left corner for his first goal of the season off an assist from Isaac Busenze.
The Terriers equalized in the 39th minute when Taylor Bowen capitalized on a missplayed touch by the Coastal goalkeeper to make the score 1-1.
Coastal looked to regain the lead in the 72nd minute when Mateo Caride's shot curled just high and to the right, keeping the score level.
At the final whistle, Wofford led 12-8 in shots and 5-4 in shots on goal.
The Chants will continue their road swing against Georgia State on Sept. 27 at 7 p.m. ET.
