CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina women's soccer team played to a 2-2 draw against the South Alabama Jaguars on Wednesday evening at the CCU Soccer Complex.

With the draw, Coastal moves to 6-3-2 on the season and 0-1-1 in Sun Belt Conference play.
Coastal scored its fastest goal of the season in the first minute when Olivia Goretski found the bottom right corner off assists from Marin Fisher and Kyra Kotsopoulos.
South Alabama looked to level the score in the 30th minute when Ava Matherne found the back of the net, but the goal was disallowed following an offside call.
At halftime, Coastal led 8-5 in shots and 2-1 in corner kicks.
South Alabama scored the equalizer in the 56th minute when Andrea Iljkic found the top right corner to make the score 1-1.
Goretski wasted no time putting the Chants back in front, scoring her second goal of the match just 37 seconds later off an assist from Kotsopoulos to give Coastal a 2-1 lead.
The Jaguars responded in the 81st minute when Aliya Gomes scored the equalizer.
South Alabama appeared to take the lead in the 87th minute, but the goal was waved off following an offside call.
The Chants will return to action on Sept. 27 to take on Georgia Southern in Statesboro, Ga., at 1 p.m.
