DAVIDSON, N.C. - The Coastal Carolina women's soccer team fell to the Davidson Wildcats 1-0 on Sunday afternoon.

With the loss, Coastal falls to 4-2-0 on the season.
Kyra Kotsopoulos looked to get the Chants on the board in the 14th minute when she hit the post and knocked the rebound over the crossbar.
At half time, Coastal trailed 5-3 in shots but held a 3-2 advantage in corner kicks.
Davidson struck first in the 61st minute when Kiera Pohan found the bottom left corner off an assist from Isabella Harry.
Olivia Goretski forced a save in the 65th minute and Breckynn Pugh hit the post in the 87th minute but the Chants couldn't break through.
Aris Lamanna made six saves in the outing.
Coastal will return to Conway, S.C., to take on College of Charleston on Sept. 10 at 6 p.m. ET.
