2021 (Junior)

• A 2021 All-Sun Belt second-team selection
• Was named to the 2021 Buster Posey Award watch list - award given to the nation's best collegiate catcher
• Played in 48 games on the season, making 47 starts
• Saw time at both catcher and designated hitter
• Hit .270 with eight home runs, 11 doubles, 27 runs scored, and 27 RBIs
• Was second on the team with eight home runs and third on the team with eight stolen bases
• Posted a .477 slugging percentage and a .354 on-base percentage
• Totaled 13 multi-hit games and six multi-RBI games at the plate on the season
• Recorded a season-high nine-game hitting streak
• Threw out 18 of 36 would-be base stealers from behind the plate
• Also had three pick-offs
• Drove in what proved to be the game-winning run in wins over UConn (March 8), West Virginia (March 21), and at South Alabama (May 14), which was a two-run home run in the top of the ninth inning
• Hit two home runs in a loss to FIU (March 12) - one of five Chants to hit two home runs in the same game on the year
• Drove in a season-high four RBIs with a grand slam in the road win at UNCW (April 14)
• Scored a season-high three runs in the win at Texas State (May 20)
• Went a combined 5-for-11 with a home run, a double, a walk, two RBIs, two runs scored, and a stolen base in the three games at the CCU Baseball Tournament (vs. Bryant (Feb. 26), West Virginia (Feb. 27), and Kennesaw State (Feb. 28))
• Was also 5-for-14 with two doubles, two walks, two RBIs, one run scored, and a stolen base in four games at Baseball at the Beach (vs. Davidson (March 5), Miami (Ohio) (March 6), and UConn (March 7-8))
• Went 3-for-4 with two solo home runs and an intentional walk in the series opener versus FIU (March 12)
• Was 1-for-1 with three walks, three runs scored, a hit-by-pitch, and a stolen base in the game-two win over FIU (March 13)
• Hit safely in all three games at West Virginia (March 19-21), going 4-for-14 with a double, an RBI, and a stolen base in the series win
• Was 2-for-5 with an RBI, a run scored, and a stolen base in the midweek win over College of Charleston (March 23)
• Had a double, RBI, and scored a run in the game two contest at Louisiana (March 27)
• Had one hit in all three games at UT Arlington (April 10-12), going 3-for-13 with a double, a walk, an RBI, and a run scored
• Blasted a solo home run (1-for-5) in the road win at North Carolina (April 20)
• Broke out the bat in the three-game series at Liberty (April 23-25), going 5-for-13 with a home run, a double, an RBI, and three runs scored
• Combined to go 6-for-13 at the plate with a walk, an RBI, three runs scored, and a stolen base in the three-game series at home versus Troy (May 7-9)
• Hit a two-run home run in the series-opening win at South Alabama (May 14)
• Went 3-for-5 with a home run, two doubles, three RBIs, and three runs scored in the series-opening win over Texas State (May 20)
• Followed that game by going 1-for-5 with an RBI in the game-two victory over the Bobcats (May 21)
• Was 2-for-5 with a double and two runs scored in the 2021 Sun Belt Conference Baseball Championship Tournament win over Little Rock (May 25)

2020 (Sophomore) *Season Ended Early Due To Worldwide Coronavirus Pandemic*

• Played in and started 12 games behind the plate as the catcher
• Hit .282 with four home runs, a triple, two doubles, 11 RBIs, and eight runs scored
• Walked six times and stole one base
• Posted a team-high .692 slugging percentage, which also ranked fifth in the Sun Belt
• His four home runs were tied for the team lead and ranked in a tie for fifth in the Sun Belt
• Recorded three multi-RBI games and two multi-hit games on the season
• Went 3-for-3 with a double, a walk, three RBIs, and a run scored in the win over West Virginia (Feb. 23)
• Was 2-for-3 with a home run, a walk, an RBI, and a run scored in the series-opening win versus Middle Tennessee (March 6)
• Picked up a triple and drove in two RBIs in the win over Kennesaw State (Feb. 23)
• Also drove in two runs on 1-for-3 hitting with a home run and a walk in the series-finale win over the Blue Raiders (March 8)
• Recorded a hit and an RBI in wins over UNC Greensboro (Feb. 14) and Charlotte (March 3)
• Also hit a home run versus UNCG and against Saint Joseph's (Feb. 21)
• Earned a spot on the Dean's List (3.5 GPA or higher) for the 2019 fall semester

2019 (Freshman)

• Saw action in 23 games on the year, making six starts
• Saw most of his time behind the plate and at designated hitter
• Hit .235 with three doubles, five RBIs, and 11 runs scored
• Drew 11 walks and struck out just eight times over 34 at-bats
• Posted a .324 slugging percentage and a .413 on-base percentage
• Recorded a .975 fielding percentage behind the plate and threw out four would-be base stealers
• Had a season-high four-game hitting streak in limited action
• Drove in a season-high two RBIs in a start at Louisiana (May 5)
• Made his first career start and picked up both his first career hit and RBI by going 1-for-4 with a double, a walk, and an RBI versus Maryland (Feb. 16)
• Recorded a double and scored two runs in the home win over Wake Forest (March 5)
• Walked and scored a run off the bench in the road win at ULM (March 16)
• Drew a walk and scored two runs in the start against the College of Charleston (April 16)
• Went 1-for-2 with two walks, an RBI, and two runs scored in the 27-2 road win at Georgia State (April 26)
• Was 1-for-2 with a walk in the second game of the three-game series at Georgia State (April 27)
• Went 1-for-1 with a walk and a run scored in a loss to Louisiana (May 3) in the series opener
• Drove in two RBIs and was 1-for-4 with a walk in the 11-9 win over Louisiana (May 5) in the series finale
• Came off the bench to go 1-for-1 with two runs scored in the 26-10 blowout win over ULM (May 25) in the quarterfinals of the Sun Belt Championship Tournament
• Also drove in an RBI and drew a walk in the semifinals win over the Warhawks (May 25)
• Had a pinch-hit double and scored a run in the loss to Auburn (May 31) at the NCAA Atlanta Regional
• Pinch ran off the bench in the loss at Georgia Tech (June 2) at the NCAA Regional
• Named to the 2018-19 Sun Belt Conference Academic Roll

High School

• Lettered at Lassiter High School in Marietta, Ga.
• Rated the No. 23 catcher in the class of 2018 in the state of Georgia by Perfect Game
• A 2018 Rawlings/Perfect Game honorable mention All-American his senior year
• Also tabbed Southeast Region honorable mention by PG in 2018
• A two-time second-team Class AAAAAA All-State selection in 2017 and 2018
• A four-time All-Region honoree
• Named the Marietta Daily Journal Athlete of the Week on May 4, 2018, when he went 5-for-7 with six RBIs versus Kennesaw Mountain in the first round of the Class AAAAAAA state tournament
• Was a standout quarterback as well
• Named to the 2017 All-Region 4-AAAAAAA team as a punter
• Played for the East Cobb Yankees
• One of 10 students from across the United States named a recipient of the 2018 PFL Character Scholarship
