  • A 2021 All-Sun Belt second-team selection
  • Was named to the 2021 Buster Posey Award watch list - award given to the nation's best collegiate catcher
  • Played in 48 games on the season, making 47 starts
  • Saw time at both catcher and designated hitter
  • Hit .270 with eight home runs, 11 doubles, 27 runs scored, and 27 RBIs
  • Was second on the team with eight home runs and third on the team with eight stolen bases

  • Played in and started 12 games behind the plate as the catcher
  • Hit .282 with four home runs, a triple, two doubles, 11 RBIs, and eight runs scored
  • Walked six times and stole one base
  • Posted a team-high .692 slugging percentage, which also ranked fifth in the Sun Belt
  • His four home runs were tied for the team lead and ranked in a tie for fifth in the Sun Belt
  • Recorded three multi-RBI games and two multi-hit games on the season
  • Went 3-for-3 with a double, a walk, three RBIs, and a run scored in the win over West Virginia (Feb. 23)
  • Was 2-for-3 with a home run, a walk, an RBI, and a run scored in the series-opening win versus Middle Tennessee (March 6)
  • Picked up a triple and drove in two RBIs in the win over Kennesaw State (Feb. 23)
  • Also drove in two runs on 1-for-3 hitting with a home run and a walk in the series-finale win over the Blue Raiders (March 8)
  • Recorded a hit and an RBI in wins over UNC Greensboro (Feb. 14) and Charlotte (March 3)
  • Also hit a home run versus UNCG and against Saint Joseph's (Feb. 21)

  • Saw most of his time behind the plate and at designated hitter

  • Drew 11 walks and struck out just eight times over 34 at-bats
  • Posted a .324 slugging percentage and a .413 on-base percentage
  • Recorded a .975 fielding percentage behind the plate and threw out four would-be base stealers
  • Had a season-high four-game hitting streak in limited action
  • Drove in a season-high two RBIs in a start at Louisiana (May 5)
  • Made his first career start and picked up both his first career hit and RBI by going 1-for-4 with a double, a walk, and an RBI versus Maryland (Feb. 16)
  • Recorded a double and scored two runs in the home win over Wake Forest (March 5)
  • Walked and scored a run off the bench in the road win at ULM (March 16)
  • Drew a walk and scored two runs in the start against the College of Charleston (April 16)

  • Named the Marietta Daily Journal Athlete of the Week on May 4, 2018, when he went 5-for-7 with six RBIs versus Kennesaw Mountain in the first round of the Class AAAAAAA state tournament
  • Was a standout quarterback as well
  • Named to the 2017 All-Region 4-AAAAAAA team as a punter
