Biography

2019 (Graduate)
  • Alongside partner Tanner Gauthier, tied for second in overall wins for Coastal with a 21-10 record
  • Played the first half of the season at No. 4, finishing with an 11-8 record
  • Moved up to No. 3 for the second half of the season, compiling a 10-2 record
  • Won all eight of her matches against ASUN Conference opponents
  • Won two of four matches played in the 2019 ASUN Championship, defeating No. 3 pairs from Austin Peay, and North Alabama

2018 (Senior)
  • Did not play ... Sat out the spring season

2017 (Junior)
  • Went 3-10 overall, seeing time at the No. 4 and 5 flights
  • Won all three matches in three consecutive contests versus Stevenson (April 1), College of Charleston (April 2), and in ASUN play versus FGCU (April 7)
  • Went 2-2 at the No. 4 position with both wins coming alongside of Iva Mandic
  • Won in straight sets with Mandic on court No. 4 versus Stevenson (April 1) and against FGCU (April 7)
  • Came from behind to win in three sets versus the College of Charleston (April 2) at the No. 5 position
  • Partnered with Shelby Ladewig, Dora Lulic, and Mandic on the season

Prior to Coastal Carolina
  • Was the starting setter as a freshman and sophomore in indoor volleyball at Clemson
  • Averaged over 9.0 assists per set in her two years to lead the Tigers in both seasons
  • As a freshman in 2014, she recorded 1,171 total assists - the second-most by a freshman in program history - on her way to All-ACC Freshman Team honors
  • Her 9.84 assists per set ranked fifth in the ACC in 2014, and she recorded 30 or more assists in 23 matches
  • As a sophomore in 2015, Federico ranked eighth in the ACC with 8.66 assists per set, while also averaging 1.22 kills and 2.49 digs in 99 sets played.

High School
  • Recorded 1,090 assists, 183 digs, 116 kills and 68 aces as a senior
  • Two-time Suburban Prairie Conference MVP, winning the award in both 2012 and 2013
  • 2012 Illinois honorable mention All-State
  • 2013 Team Captain
  • 2013 News Gazette first-team All-State
  • Played club at Sports Performance
  • Late mother, Christine Federico, played at Illinois State and was Inducted into the Illinois State University Athletics Percy Family Hall of Fame in 1996
  • Mother is also the only player in Missouri Valley Conference history to lead the conference in kills, digs, aces and hitting percentage in the same season (1988) and played on the AVP Tour
  • Father, Creig Federico, was on the Illinois State football team from 1983-85, spent a short time with the Kansas City Chiefs (1986) and Detroit Lions (1987), and had a stint in the Arena Football League (1988-89) with Pittsburgh
