On the mound, posted a 2-2 record with a 5.04 ERA, striking out 21 batters in 20.1 innings ... Helped Jefferson College to a 43-17 record and conference title ... 2009 (Fr.): Earned honorable mention all-conference honors ... Batted .350 with 12 doubles, two triples and five home runs while going 2-1 as a pitcher with a 2.22 ERA ... Helped school to a conference title ... Jefferson City HS: A three-time, first team All-State selection while earning first team all-area by the Columbia Tribune and all-district four times ... Set his school record with 113 career hits while ranking second on his school[apos]s all-time list for doubles and RBI as well as ranking third on the all-time home run list ... Hit .507 with five home runs and 28 RBI while going 4-1 as a pitcher his senior season ... Hit .517 as a junior and .546 as a sophomore ... Was the winning pitcher for Jefferson City in the 2007 state championship, while pitching a two-hit shutout in his school[apos]s district championship game ... Played on the 2007 Junior Sunbelt champions for Team Missouri ... For his high school career, was 19-4 with a 2.20 earned-run-average on the mound ... Also led his high school to the state semifinal as a quarterback ... Was in the National Honor Society and ranked among the top-15 percent of his graduating class at Jefferson City.
