Matt Pearce was named the assistant director of recruiting and operations in 2021 after being promoted to the coordinator of football on-campus recruiting and operations in September 2020. He started his career at CCU as a football recruiting analyst for two years (2018 and 2019).

Working directly with Devon Doyle, the director of recruiting, and Brad Queen, the director of operations and leadership, Pearce assists in the day-to-day operations of both recruiting and football operations.

Pearce spent the 2018 and 2019 seasons as the football recruiting analyst at CCU after serviced as a football student assistant in the recruiting and video departments at the University of Nebraska from 2014-18.

Pearce earned his bachelor's degree in journalism from Nebraska in 2018 where he was the sports business administration president during his senior season. He also received his master's in business administration from the University of South Dakota in May 2021.
