Matt Pearce was promoted to the Director of Recruiting in January 2023.
He previously served as the assistant director of recruiting and operations since 2021 after being promoted to the coordinator of football on-campus recruiting and operations in September 2020. He started his career at CCU as a football recruiting analyst for two years (2018 and 2019).
Working directly with head coach Tim Beck, Pearce assists in the day-to-day operations of recruiting.
Pearce spent the 2018 and 2019 seasons as the football recruiting analyst at CCU after serviced as a football student assistant in the recruiting and video departments at the University of Nebraska from 2014-18.
Pearce earned his bachelor's degree in journalism from Nebraska in 2018 where he was the sports business administration president during his senior season. He also received his master's in business administration from the University of South Dakota in May 2021.
