- Shot his career-best single round in the final 18 at the International Collegiate, shooting a 66, 6-under par, tying for the best round of the season for Coastal Carolina,
- Tied for ninth at the Inverness Intercollegiate and bettered that with a tie for seventh at the next tournament, the Coca-Cola Duke Golf Classic to help lead Coastal Carolina to the team title
- Was a stellar 3-0 for the Chanticleers in the Callaway Golf Collegiate Match Play, defeating Casey Clendenon of Lamar, Patton Kizzire of Auburn, and Erik Coover of Arizona State
- Was also named a Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar by the Golf Coaches Association of America
- During the summer of 2007 qualified for the U.S. Amateur Public Links, advancing to match play
2005-06 (Sophomore)
- Competed in all 13 events for the Chanticleers, ranking fourth on the team with a 75.1 scoring average
- Placed in the top-20 in four events, including one top-five finish
- His top finish was a tie for third at the Ashworth Invitational, firing a 215, 1-under par
- Also tied for 17th at the General Jim Hackler Invitational with a 220, +4
- Finished in a tie for 17th in the opening tournament, the Inverness Intercollegiate
- Also tied for 19th at The Landfall Tradition

- 2005 Big South Conference Champion, the sixth Coastal Carolina player to capture the individual crown in the 20 years of the championship
- Helped the Chants to their second consecutive Big South team title by shooting a 211, 5-under par, to win by four strokes, including a season-best 67 in the second round
- Also was voted as the Big South Freshman of the Year by the head coaches and sports information directors
- Earned All-Big South honors
- Played in all 13 events, averaging 74.10 strokes per round, good for second on the team and the 14th-best single-season average in school history

- Played extensive golf on the Carolina Juniors Tour, winning the individual title in 2004
- Finished as runner-up at the Brick Landing Junior event and earned a place on the Carolinas Junior Team
- Was medalist at the Carolina Junior Amateur with rounds under par
- Qualified for the U.S. Junior Amateur in 2004
- Captured the Charles Tilghman Junior and Moore County Junior championships in 2003
- Placed seventh in the 2003 Myrtle Beach Open, finishing in a tie for the top amateur
- Captured the individual honors at the 2003 George Holliday Junior, winning the event by 10 shots
