Melville brings a dynamic, attack-minded approach to the Chanticleers after spending several seasons with James Madison University’s men’s soccer program.
Initially joining JMU as a volunteer coach, he was promoted to full-time assistant in 2019 and played a key role in goalkeeper development, team performance analysis, and tactical preparation. During his tenure, JMU achieved several strong defensive and offensive seasons, with Melville contributing significantly to both units.
As a player, he competed at Iowa Western Community College, helping the team to an undefeated record and a national championship, before transferring to the University of Cincinnati, where he was a regular starter. Melville holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Cincinnati and an MBA from JMU.
