*    He led the state of North Carolina in both assists and assists per game
*    His final assists per game average as a senior, was not only the highest in North Carolina, but the nation as well among all high school players
*    Helped lead Hoggard to three conference titles
*    Was named all-district and all-conference by the North Carolina High School Athletic Association
*    Was a member of the National Honors Society and a four-year honor roll student
