• Had a stellar series versus Southern Miss (March 21-23) going 6-for-8 while posting a .750 batting average. Montoya scored one run while driving in three RBIs to help the Chants take the 2-1 series win.
• Montoya went a perfect 2-for-2 against North Carolina (March 14) and hammered a two-run home run to give CCU a 5-4 lead.
• Recorded two new career highs of four hits and four runs in Coastal's 11-3 victory over Georgia State (March 25)
• Prevented a Louisiana no-hitter when she blooped a single over the third baseman’s head in the bottom of the seventh inning with two outs on the board (April 28)
• The five-year starter crushed an RBI single to kick off CCU's five-run inning against Louisiana (April 29)
• Earned a spot on the President’s List (4.0 GPA or higher) for the spring 2023 term

2022 (Senior)

• Appeared in and started all 54 games for the Chants at shortstop
• Batted .258 with six home runs, seven doubles, 22 RBIs, and 29 runs scored
• Finished the season with a .324 on-base percentage and a .411 slugging percentage
• Led the team with nine sacrifice bunts
• Was tied for second on the team with 29 runs scored and tied for third with 22 RBIs
• Was fourth on the team with 42 base hits
