• Connected her first home run of the season in game two versus Campbell on 4/ 21.

• Had two or more hits in six games, including a career-high three at #13 South Carolina on Feb. 27
• On Feb, 8 she picked up her first career hit in her first career at-bat against number #8 Tennessee with a single to right field.

High School

• Guess was a three-time, first team all-conference performer at Lee-Davis High School in Mechanicsville, Va.
• In her first three seasons, she totaled 90 hits, 19 doubles, seven home runs, three triples and 60 RBI while compling a .390 batting average
• As a junior, she batted .423 with 33 hits, including six doubles, one triple and five home runs while collecting 25 RBI
• She has earned two academic all-conference honors, a first team All-Richmond-Metro, the Lee-Davis varsity softball MVP (2017) and was the Chick-fil-A student Athlete of the Month (May 2017)
• Guess helped Lee-Davis to three straight conference titles, two 5A South Region titles and a 5A Virginia state runner-up finish with a 64-10 record.

"Sydney is an impressive hitter that can drive the ball to all fields," Green said. "She will add another powerful left-handed bat to our lineup while being able to play the outfield or first base."
