The 2024-25 season saw two Chants take home two individual Sun Belt Conference titles in outdoor track and field, with Amanda Kinloch winning the women's 100 meter hurdles and Molly Jones winning the women's 5,000 meters. Kinloch also took home the women's 60 meter hurdles title at the indoor conference championship.

The Chants placed six athletes on the All-Sun Belt team, with Kinloch and Jones being named to the first team, Terrique Webb on the second team, and Amilia Wise-Sweat, Trey Kraimer, and Adam Groves taking home third team honors.

In his first year with the Chants, Burrows helped guide senior Nikki Boon to a fourth-place finish in the pentathlon at the 2023 Sun Belt Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships with a program record of 3,722 points.

Lorick went on to qualify for the NCAA East Regional Outdoor Championships, as the sophomore recorded the fifth-best mark in the high jump event on the season in the Sun Belt Conference at 1.75 meters, which is also the second-best height in CCU's outdoor annals. On the men's side, first-year Chant Deondre Hardy posted a runner-up finish in the men's long jump event at the 2023 Sun Belt Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships to earn All-Sun Belt second-team honors, while fellow freshman AJ McKay Jr. recorded the second-best mark in CCU history in the men's triple jump event at 15.08 meters.
