Box Score CONWAY, S.C.-- The Coastal Carolina (12-6, 4-1 Big South) volleyball team held on to defeat UNC Asheville, 3-2 (30-22, 32-30, 21-30, 26-30, 15-13), in Big South Conference Volleyball action, Saturday afternoon in Kimbel Arena.

The Lady Chanticleers had three players collect double-digits in kills, led by Jeanne Lambert who had a match high 26.
Katie Knutson and Carly Draudt recorded 17 and 13 respectively. Knutson and Lambert also posted double figures in digs with 21 and 20.

Reigning Big South Conference Freshman of the Week, Jennifer Hampton, had three service aces along with 59 assists and 13 digs, to help CCU when its second straight and six of its last seven.

Leading the way for UNCA, (14-5, 5-1 Big South) was Logan Pierce who had 19 kills along with 16 digs. Leslie Whitfield paced the Bulldog defense with a match high 40 digs.

The Lady Chants will return to Kimbel Arena Wednesday at 7 p.m. to face UNC Wilmington.
