Basketball Season Tickets Available; Hoopla Monday Night

Oct. 19, 2012

CONWAY - Coastal Carolina men's and women's basketball season tickets are available for as low as $100. The 2012-13 men's basketball schedule features non-conference home games against perennial NCAA Tournament participant The University of Akron as well as ACC foe Clemson University. The women's team welcomes in ACC member North Carolina.

Men's season tickets for the 2012-13 season are $175 for the Teal section, $150 for the Bronze and $100 for the Fan Zone. CCU faculty/staff may purchase men's basketball season tickets in Arcadia Hall for $140 in the Teal section, $120 in the Bronze section and $80 for the Fan Zone. (Note: For all season tickets in the Teal and Bronze sections, there will be an additional donation to the Chanticleer Athletic Foundation required.) The home schedule features 15-games including seven non-conference match-ups and eight Big South Conference games.

The women's season tickets are just $25 for the entire 15-game home slate in either the Teal, Bronze or Fan Zone section.

Men's mini-packs are also available for purchase. Both mini-packs are $50 for the general public in the Bronze section and $40 in the Fan Zone, while CCU faculty/staff can purchase the mini-packs for $40 and $32, respectively.

The first mini-pack - Slam Dunk Mini-Pack - includes tickets for the inaugural men's basketball game played in The HTC Center, versus Akron on Nov. 9, as well as games versus Boston University (Dec. 6), VMI (Jan. 19) and rival Winthrop (Feb. 27).

The second mini-pack - 3-Pointer Mini-Pack - includes Florida International (Nov. 24), Clemson (Dec. 19), Campbell (Jan. 26) and UNC Asheville (Feb. 19). This is the first time Clemson has come to Conway for men's basketball since Dec. 30, 2000, and marks the second time in as many seasons the Chanticleers have hosted a program from a BSC program, defeating LSU last season. Campbell was picked in the preseason to win the Big South North Division while UNC Asheville has won each of the last two Big South Tournament titles.

Remaining single game tickets for all home men's and women's games during the 2012-13 season will go on sale Oct. 29.

Single-game tickets for all women's home games are $5 for the general public, $4 for CCU faculty/staff and $3 for youth. Prices for single-game tickets for men's home games vary. For the Akron and Clemson games, single-game tickets are $20 for Teal ($16 faculty/staff), $15 for Bronze ($12 faculty/staff), $12 for Fan Zone ($9 faculty/staff) and $8 for youth. For all other CCU men's home games, tickets are $15 for Teal ($12 faculty/staff), $12 for Bronze ($9 faculty/staff), $10 for Fan Zone ($8 faculty/staff) and $8 for youth.
