June 4, 2015 CONWAY - Coastal Carolina head women's lacrosse coach Jaime Sellers and her staff has announced the program's fourth signing class, which includes six student-athletes who will enroll at the University and join the team this fall. They will be eligible to compete during the spring 2016 season.
The six signees hail from six different states, including North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Illinois, Pennsylvania and New Hampshire, and played all four position on the field during their high school careers with a pair of attackers and midfielders to go along with a defender and a goalkeeper.
"We are excited to announce our incoming class," Sellers said. "Hailing from six different states, the group represents the growth of our sport and the ability for coaches to recruit on a national landscape, which wasn't necessarily the case 10 years ago. This class is also well balanced across the field, representing all four position groups. While this is the smallest class we have brought in, they are abundant with talent and passion for the game. They are an extremely fun group, and I can't wait to see them become a part of our team this fall."
