CONWAY - The fourth-ranked Coastal Carolina University men's soccer team puts its lofty ranking on the line Wednesday evening against No. 21 NC State. The match, which will be played at the CCU Soccer Stadium where the Chanticleers are 89-22-7 all-time, is scheduled for 7 p.m. and admission is FREE to both CCU students and the general public.

NUMBER FOUR IN THE NATION
• Coastal Carolina was ranked fourth by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America's (NSCAA) weekly top-25 coaches' poll, the association announced Tuesday, Sept. 29.
• The Chants current of fourth by both the NSCAA and College Soccer News is the highest in program and Big South history, eclipsing the No. 5 ranking the team held the past two weeks and that of the 2013 team in late October during an impressive 11-game win streak.
• Not only does Coastal Carolina University boast the nation's fourth-ranked men's soccer team, but also the top-ranked FCS football team.
• Coastal Carolina is the only institution in all of NCAA Division I to have both its football and men's soccer program hold a top-five ranking by their respective coaches' polls.
• The Chants are also ranked second in the NSCAA South Region behind North Carolina. The NSCAA South Region, consisting of teams from the ACC, Big South and Southern Conference, is regarded as the toughest in the nation. Coastal is the only non-ACC institution ranked inside the top-10 in the South Region.
ONE OF SEVEN UNBEATEN IN DIVISION I
• The Chanticleer are currently one of seven undefeated team in NCAA Division I men's soccer with their 6-0-1 record through seven contests. Only Creighton (8-0-0) is undefeated and untied after four weeks of play.

LAST TIME VS. NC STATE
• A first-half goal by freshman Tommy Gudmundsson and two Sergio Camargo scores in the opening 3:04 of the second half spurred No. 25 Coastal Carolina to a 3-1 victory over NC State at the Wolfpack's Dial Soccer Field on Sept. 30, 2015.
THE COASTAL VS. NC STATE SERIES ALL-TIME SERIES
• The Chanticleers and Wolfpack have only played four times since the series started in 1981. NC State, which has hosted each of the four matches, won the first three in the series before Coastal scored a 3-1 win last season.
WELCOME BACK TO CONWAY
• Wednesday's match against NC State marks the first visit to Conway by an Atlantic Coast Conference member institution for a regular season contest since Wake Forest on Oct. 23, 2007.
• Conversely, the Chanticleers have competed in eight regular season road matches at ACC members along with three more in NCAA Tournament play since the 2007 visit by the Demon Deacons.
DOCKING ... IN A LEAGUE OF HIS OWN
• Head coach Shaun Docking is the only coach in Big South men's soccer history to win 100-plus conference games (six at Charleston Southern and 100 at Coastal Carolina). Docking hit the career milestone on Oct. 4, 2014 with a win at Campbell. However, he improved upon his own record as he became the first coach to win a 100 regular season matches at one institution with a 4-0 defeat of Gardner-Webb on Sept. 25, 2015.
• Docking will most likely be joined in both clubs by Winthrop's Rich Posipanko, who has 97 career Big South victories.
CAMARGO HAS A WEEK
• Junior midfielder Sergio Camargo was named to the College Soccer News National Team of the Week as well as the Big South Conference's Attacking Player of the Week for the week ending Sept. 27.
• Camargo led Coastal to a 3-1 win at UAB with two first-half goals. He scored both from the top of the box while being closely defended -- the first in the seventh minute and the second in the 39th -- to notch his third career multi-goal game. Against Gardner-Webb, Camargo notched his team-leading fourth assist on Bryce Follensbee's second of two third-minute goals.
THE PERENNIAL WINNER
• Over the past five seasons head coach Shaun Docking and his staff have transformed Coastal Carolina into a perennial national power.
• Since the 2010 season, Coastal has amassed a NCAA-leading 91 total victories.
• Coastal has appeared in the NCAA Tournament in each of the last five seasons, including back-to-back trips to the Tournament's third round of play in 2012 and 2013.
• The Chants have won at least one match in each of the last four NCAA Tournaments.
• In addition, since the 2010 season, the Chanticleers have dominated the Big South Conference to the tune of a 41-4-2 record.
