OMAHA, Neb. - Coastal Carolina's Connor Owings and G.K. Young were both voted first team All-Americans by the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA), while Owings was additionally named to the D1Baseball.com second team All-American squad.

The duo will lead the Chanticleers to its first ever game at the NCAA College World Series. Coastal will face top seed Florida Sunday on ESPN2 at 7 pm (CT)/8 pm (ET).

Owings and Young are the first two Chanticleers to be named first team All-American by the ABCA and just the third and fourth players from CCU to ever be selected All-American by the organization. (Anthony Meo was a third team pick in 2010 and Tommy La Stella was a second team selection in 2012.

Owings was previously named first team All-American by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) as well as being tabbed a second team All-American by Louisville Slugger/Collegiate Baseball. Young, a semifinalist for the Dick Howser College Player of the Year Award, was additionally a first team All-American by the NCBWA.
