Conway - Coastal Carolina’s men’s soccer team has received plenty of recognition for it on-the-field performance, but they are also receiving recognition for their work in the classroom.
The United Soccer Coaches have released their College Team Academic Awards winners from the 2016-17 season and CCU was among 293 men’s teams across the nation named to the list. To receive the honor teams must have a team grade point average (gpa) of 3.0 or higher.
The men’s team had 17 student-athletes on its roster post a 3.0 gpa or higher with six named to the Presidential List and four named to the Dean’s List.
