GREENVILLE, N.C. - The Coastal Carolina men's tennis team rallied from a 3-2 deficit Saturday afternoon to come from behind and defeat East Carolina 4-3 at the River Birch Tennis Center.

After taking the doubles point, Coastal (8-7) fell in three of the first four singles matches to trail the contest by a point. The Chants finished the match with wins by Luiz Faria (No. 2) and Sebastian Schneider (No. 3) in three sets to complete the victory.

Vuk Velickovic and Faria paired to win 6-4 on the first doubles court. Kasey Countee and Ronny Georgi then evened the point with a 6-3 win over Francesco Migliano and Jose Ortega on the third court. Coastal clinched the opening point when Schneider and Zak Talic edged Vlad Anghel and Fredric Lehfeldt, 7-5, at No. 2.

Countee (No. 5) and Will Bissett (No. 6) won the first two singles points in straight sets for ECU to take the lead.

Velickovic evened the match after downing Freddie McGeehan in straight sets at No. 1.

Lehfeldt put ECU on the edge of victory with a three-set win over Migliano at No. 4, but Faria and Schneider rallied from first and second set losses, respectively, to provide the match's final two points and the victory.
