Game Notes
Once the Coastal Carolina men's soccer team hits the pitch for its soccer match at William & Mary Friday Sept. 21, it will have been 19 days (almost three weeks) since the Chanticleers have played a soccer match.
The last match for CCU was back on Sept. 2 when they defeated UAB in Birmingham 1-0. It was the team's third consecutive win and second consecutive shutout for the 17
th (TopDrawer Soccer) and 24
th ranked (United Soccer Coaches) Chants.
The Chants last two matches, both at home against Radford and George Mason, were postponed due to Hurricane Florence. A make-up date for those matches has not been announced.
The match at William & Mary is set to begin at 7 p.m. with the Tribe owning a 3-2-1 lead in the series. Last season in Conway, the two teams battled to a double overtime 1-1 stalemate. Viewing and live stats options can be found at goccusports.com.
