Seven Receive All-Sun Belt Soccer Honors

CONWAY – The Coastal Carolina men's soccer team was well represented on the postseason All-Sun Belt honors list, as released by the Sun Belt Conference Office Tuesday. Highlighting the list was Sam Snaith who was named the Sun Belt Conference Freshman of the Year.
A United Kingdom native, Snaith played in all 17 matches as a forward and was second on the team in scoring with 13 points. His six goals are tied for the team lead going into this week's Sun Belt Championship Tournament.
Named All-Sun Belt first team for the second consecutive season was both Tsiki Ntsabeleng and Jeranimo Power.
Despite battling injuries all season, Ntsabeleng still managed to make an impact from his forward position as the Chants made a late-season push. Ntsabeleng was third on the team with eight points on three goals and two assists on the year.
One of the top midfielders in the conference, Power was one of only four Chanticleers to play in all 17 games this season and was a key part in the hot start to the season in which the Chants went 2-2 over four road matches versus top-25 nationally ranked competition.
Tyrone Mondi leads a group of four Chants named to the second team. A second team honoree for the second-straight year, Mondi leads CCU in scoring heading into the conference championship with six goals and three assists for 15 points.
DZ Harmon, Morten Timm and Alberto Ciroi were also named to the second team. It is a first-time honor for all three. Harmon played in 15 games this season and is tied for the team lead with three assists, while Timm is a three-year starter for the Chants and has seen action in over 50 matches, playing as both a defender and at midfield for head coach Shaun Docking.
Ciroi had a great season in goal for CCU. The senior was one of the top goalkeepers in the nation and heads into postseason play with five shutouts and a 1.08 goals against average. He also has 39 saves on the season and a .672 save percentage.
