BROWNS SUMMIT, N.C. – The Coastal Carolina women's golf team moved into a tie for 13^th after shooting a 302 in Saturday's second round of the Bryan National Collegiate. The Chants score was seven shots better than yesterday's opening round.
 
Once again Marie Lunackova led the day's action for CCU. She finished the day shooting a 2-over 74 (38-36) and her two-day total is a 5-over 149 (75-74). Her score in today's round has moved her up seven spots and she will enter the final round tied for 32^nd.
 
Tiffany Arafi shot a 4-over 76 (59-57) in Saturday's action. Her scored brought her two-day total to a 9-over 153 (77-76) moving her into a tie for 53^rd.
 
Alexandra Naumovski continued to have a solid second spring tournament. The freshman shot a 7-over 79 (38-41) and has moved into a tie for 69^th with a 12-over 156 (77-79).
 
Also moving into a tie for 69^th was Jenjira Jinangkul who shot four strokes better than her opening day score with a 4-over 76 (38-38) in today's action. She also has a two-day score of 12-over 156 (80-76).
 
Frantiska Lunackova also showed improvement in today's action knocking five strokes off her first round tally. She shot a 4-over 76 (40-36) in today's round to give her a two-day score of 13-over 157 (81-76). The 36 she shot over the back nine matched sister Marie for the team's low round of the day and she enters tomorrow tied for 76^th.
 
CCU is even with Kentucky with both teams sitting at 35-over 611. Wake Forest continued to have little problem solving the Bryan Park Champions Course holding the lead with a 20-under 556.
 
North Carolina State and North Carolina are the only other teams under par in the event. NC State is second with a 4-under 572 and the Tar Heels are right behind with a 1-under 575.
 
Rounding out the top-5 are Charlotte at 3-over (579) and Virginia at 10-over (586).
