Emerson led McCook Community College to an undefeated conference record in 2018. During that run, that she racked up 124 total blocks to rank first in her school's region and 17th in the country.

"Hannah was a multifaceted leader at McCook on and off the court and had a very successful JUCO run.  She possesses great athleticism and has good, natural size that allows her to excel attacking and blocking.  If middles struggle, it's usually with reading opponent's setters and that's where Hannah separates herself from the pack.  Paired with exceptional lateral speed, she was a top blocker statistically in junior college last season.  Hannah is admirably humble and has a tremendous fighting spirit.  We are very fortunate to have Hannah a part of our program."
