CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina women's lacrosse team continues its five-game season-opening road trip with the second contest taking place this week in Buies Creek, N.C. on Wednesday, Feb. 12 at the Campbell Fighting Camels. The opening draw is set for 3 p.m. ET at Barker-Lane Stadium.
Coastal enters the week 1-0 on the heels of a 12-8 win at Old Dominion, while the Fighting Camels are 0-1 after falling 12-5 to in-state foe Elon.
CCU holds a 6-1 advantage over the Camels, Wednesday will mark the third time the Camels and Chanticleers will meet as non-conference foes.

The Chanticleers are averaging 12 goals per game while allowing just eight per contest. Senior
Lyla Robinson and sophomore
Megan Bozzi lead the team with four points each, with both scoring three goals and assisting on another in the season opener.
Defensively, senior goalkeeper
Regan McComb got her first start in goal against ODU allowing just eight goals and grabbing four ground balls, while senior defender
Emily D'Orsaneo caused one turnover and picked up four ground balls.

Campbell is allowing 12 goals per contest while scoring just five goals per match. The Fighting Camels had five different players score a goal in the season opener with Julianna Sanchez (1 goal and 1 assist) and Megan Matthews (2 assists) leading the team with two points each. Laura Will, Mackenzie Kolesar, Ally Heath, and Sam Carey have also found the back of the net for Campbell.
