Women’s Tennis to Compete Against UNCG and at South Carolina This Weekend

Coastal Carolina women’s tennis team to host Spartans on Saturday and travel to South Carolina on Sunday
CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina women's tennis team will host UNCG on Saturday, Feb. 22, in Conway, S.C. before traveling to Columbia, S.C. to take on South Carolina on Sunday, Feb. 23. The first serves are scheduled for Noon ET and 10 a.m. ET, respectively.
The Chanticleers enter the weekend with a 1-2 overall record while the Spartans enter with a 1-5 mark. CCU leads the overall series with UNCG 4-2.
The Gamecocks hold a 3-3 overall record. USC owns a 3-0 advantage over the Chants in the overall series.
Coastal picked up its first win of the season in the last outing on Feb. 9, sweeping in-state foe Charleston Southern 7-0.
UNCG fell 6-1 at James Madison on Feb. 15 with Ariana Chan getting the lone point on court No. 6.
South Carolina dropped its last outing 4-3 to Denver in Lubbock, Texas and will take on Oklahoma State on Saturday, Feb. 22.
