Rain Washes Out Final Day of Play at Dorado Beach Collegiate

Coastal Carolina men’s golf will host the Hackler on March 9-10
DORADO, Puerto Rico – After yesterday's second-round action was washed out due to rain, the third and final round of the TPC Dorado Beach Collegiate was cancelled on Tuesday due to heavy rain and inclement weather throughout the area.
With the last two rounds being rained out, the Chanticleers finished in 15th-place overall on the team leaderboard with a first-round score of 295, +7.
No. 21 Louisville won the team title with a round of 269, -19 under par, on Sunday, finishing ahead of No. 44 Kansas (269, -12) and host UNCG (279, -9).
Senior States Fort placed in a tie for 10th-place overall with a 69, -3 under par.
Freshman Gavin Noble carded a first-round 74, +2, to put him in a log jam at 58th-plae overall, while senior Zack Taylor's opening-round 75, +3, placed him in 71st overall.
Fellow Chants Tyler Gray (77, +5) and Seth Taylor (79, +7) finished in 90th and 92nd overall, respectively.
CCU's Brady Hinkle (71, even par) finished in a tie for 26th overall, while Garrett Cooper (73, +1) placed in a tie for 48th overall. Both played as individuals in the event.
Coastal will return home to host the General Hackler Championship at the Dunes Golf and Beach Club on March 9-10.
