Chanticleer Women’s Tennis to Host Wofford and St. John’s This Weekend

Coastal Carolina women’s tennis teams look to rebound from South Carolina defeat
CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina women's tennis team will host a pair of matches this weekend as the Chants will take on in-state foe Wofford on Feb. 29 (1:30 p.m. ET) before welcoming St. John's on March 1 (Noon ET) at the Lynn Stevens Tennis Complex on the campus of Coastal Carolina University.
The Chanticleers enter the weekend with a 2-3 overall record after dropping their last contest 6-1 to in-state foe South Carolina on Feb. 23. CCU has an 8-0 series advantage over the Terriers including a 4-0 win in Spartanburg, S.C., on March 5, 2019.
Against St. John's, the two programs have met just once with the Chants earning a 5-2 win in Conway, S.C., on Feb. 22, 2018.
The Wofford Terriers are currently 6-1 on the year and coming off a 5-2 home win over UNCW on Feb. 23.
The Red Storm enter the weekend with a 6-4 overall mark and is looking to rebound from a 5-2 road loss to Brown last time out. Prior to playing the Chanticleers on Sunday, St. John's will travel to Columbia on Feb. 28, before making its way to Conway, S.C.
