Sun Belt Conference Cancels All Organized Athletics Activities

NEW ORLEANS – The Sun Belt Conference has announced that the league is canceling all organized athletics-related activities, including regular-season competitions, conference championships, and practices, through the remainder of the academic year.
The league office had originally suspended regular-season and championship competition on March 12.
This decision was made in consultation with the league's Presidents, Chancellors, and Directors of Athletics to address growing concerns surrounding the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19).
Ticket Refund Information for Coastal Carolina Home Athletic Events
Due to the cancelation of athletic events, the Department of Athletics will implement the following ticket refund procedures.
We are offering two options for individuals that are impacted by this decision:
Season Tickets: the refund amount will be based on the percentage of remaining games.
For refunds, please allow up to five business days to process. If you purchased with cash or check, you will be required to visit the Chanticleer Athletic Ticket Office during normal business hours of Monday-Friday 9 a.m.-5 p.m. (hours subject to change) to process your refund as long as the University campus remains open and accessible.
We are asking all individuals to contact the Chanticleer Athletic Ticket Office at 843-347-8499 or via email at tickets@coastal.edu to clarify which option they choose.

- Forego your refund with funds being donated to the Chanticleer Athletic Foundation (CAF) to support the mission of the Department of Athletics. This would be a tax-deductible donation to the CAF Impact Fund.
- A refund based on the actual single-game purchase or percentage of games remaining for season ticket holders.
