CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina women's lacrosse team continues its season-opening road trip as the Chants are in Boulder, Colo. to take on the Colorado Buffalos for the first-time in program history on Sunday, March 8. The opening draw is scheduled for 2 p.m. ET.
ABOUT COASTAL
Coastal enters the contest with a 2-1 record overall with all games taking place on the road. The Chanticleers dropped their last outing 12-7 at Temple on Feb. 22.
Samantha Courtemanche is averaging 4.33 points per game this season while leading the team with eight goals and five assists.
Megan Bozzi is second on the team with five goals on the season, while
Megan Busch,
Lyla Robinson, and
Lauren Cremen each have scored four goals on the year.
SCOUTING COLORADO
The Buffalos are currently 1-2 on the season, ranked No. 24 in the IWLCA Division I Coaches Poll and coming off a 21-5 win over Oregon on Friday, March 6.
Sadie Grozier leads Colorado's offensive attack with nine goals and one assist for 10 points while Charlie Rudy is chipping in eight goals.
