CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina University volleyball team is scheduled to play 16 regular-season matches in 2020, with eight contests slated to take place in the HTC Center on the campus of Coastal Carolina University.
Playing a Sun Belt Conference schedule only, the Chanticleers will play eight matches at home and eight matches on the road.
CCU will open up the season with three matches at South Alabama on Sept. 25-26, before opening up its home slate versus Appalachian State with back-to-back bouts on Oct. 1 and Oct. 2.
The Chants will then face off with Georgia State for three matches in Atlanta from Oct. 9-10, before returning to the HTC Center to host a three-match series with Troy on Oct. 22-23.
Following back-to-back matches on the road at Appalachian State on Oct. 30-31, CCU's head coach Jozsef Forman's squad will conclude the regular season slate with a three-match weekend series versus Georgia Southern on Nov. 6-7.
This year's Sun Belt Championship Tournament will be held at the Foley Sports Tourism Complex in Foley, Ala. from Nov. 18-22. The first three days will consist of Pool Play leading to the semifinals on Saturday, Nov. 21, and the championship match on Sunday, Nov. 22.
Attendance guidelines and protocols will be announced at a later date.
