CONWAY, S.C. – The Baha Mar Hoops Nassau Championship has announced a change to the bracket as the Coastal Carolina University men's basketball team will now start the multi-team event on Tuesday, Nov. 23.
The change was prompted by Abilene Christian's announcement that they will no longer be able to participate in the event, dropping the number of participating teams from eight to seven.
The Chants will now receive a bye in the opening round and will face the winner of the Jacksonville State and Valparaiso first-round game which will take place on Monday, Nov. 22.
CCU and the winner of the JSU and Valparaiso game is now scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 23 at 5:30 p.m. ET.
All games during the event will be broadcast on FloHoops from the Baha Mar Convention Center. The now seven-team field includes Valpo, Toledo, Charlotte, Drexel, Tulane, Jacksonville State, and Coastal Carolina.
