Chanticleers looking to end Fall schedule on a positive note
CONWAY, S.C. – After a few weeks off, the Coastal Carolina University men's golf team will be back in action Nov. 8-10 at the Saint Mary's Invitational hosted by Saint Mary's College at the Poppy Hills Golf Club in Pebble Beach, Calif. It will be the final match of the fall schedule for the Chanticleers.
A total of 19 teams will compete in the three-day event that will consist of 54 holes, 18 holes each day, as the Poppy Hills course will play as a par-72, 7,002-yard layout.
Joining CCU and host Saint Mary's in the highly-competitive field will be BYU, Colorado State, Fresno State, Long Beach State, Loyola Marymount, Nevada, Northern Illinois, Oregon, Oregon State, New Mexico, Pacific, San Diego, San Francisco, Santa Clara, Seattle, Stanford, and Washington State.
Head Coach Jim Garren will make the trip to California with Seth Taylor, Gavin Noble, Luke Nelson, Trey Crenshaw, Viktor Olund making the CCU lineup, while Holden Grigg will play as an individual.
