CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina women's soccer team will continue its spring season road trip as the Chanticleers will travel to Durham, N.C., on Wednesday, March 17, to take on the fifth-ranked Duke Blue Devils in a match that was originally scheduled for Sunday, March 14.
The Chants are 7-6 overall and finished 6-4 in Sun Belt Conference action while the Blue Devils improved to 8-4-2 after defeating the UNCW Seahawks 3-0 on March 6.
The Chanticleers picked up their first win of the spring season with a 1-0 victory over in-state foe College of Charleston in Mt. Pleasant, S.C. last time out.

CCU will continue to use a mixed lineup of veteran players and newcomers this spring season to get the younger players playing experience. Freshmen who saw significant action on the pitch against UNCW and College of Charleston included
Ellie Wolski,
Carleigh Frilles,
Taylor Tolson, and
Maria Folgero while sophomore
Ky Hudson has logged all 180 minutes of action in goal.
Duke is led by Tess Boade and Marykate McGuire who have scored 10 points each with four goals and two assists and two goals and six assists, respectively. Caitlin Cosme is third on the team with nine points off four points and one assist.
Defensively, the Blue Devils have used two goalkeepers with Ruthie Jones getting the bulk of the action and Brooke Heinsohn picking up limited duty.
