CONWAY, S.C. - The Coastal Carolina beach volleyball team will head to the College of Charleston Invitational this weekend for a two-day tournament on Saturday, March 20, and Sunday, March 21. The Chanticleers will play one match each versus Jacksonville, UNCW, and College of Charleston. 

Last time out, Coastal went 3-1 overall at the Carolina Challenge, posting a sweep over Jacksonville 5-0 for a second consecutive victory and a 4-1 win against the Mercer Bears for a third consecutive win. The Chants' also picked up a 3-2 victory against the Southern Miss Golden Eagles.

The No. 1 flight of sophomores Irena Drobnjak and Sarlota Svobodova was named the ASUN Beach Volleyball Pair of the Week as the duo went 3-1 at the Carolina Challenge with wins against the top flights from Jacksonville, Mercer, and Southern Miss. 

The Jacksonville Dolphins enter this weekend's action with a 2-8 record having played at the Carolina Challenge last week.

UNCW enters play this weekend with a 2-6 record having last played at the Coastal Carolina Invitational where they picked up a 3-2 win against College of Charleston on March 5.

The College of Charleston Cougars enters their home tournament with a 5-7 record last playing at the North Florida Beach Spring Fling where they picked up two wins.
