Women’s Tennis Heads to Georgia this Weekend

CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina Women's tennis team will head to Georgia for a pair of conference matches versus Sun Belt Conference members Georgia State on Friday, March 26, and Georgia Southern Saturday, March.27.
The Chanticleers enter the contest with a 9-3 (4-1 SBC) overall record and on a five-match winning streak against the Eagles. The Chants are coming off a 4-1 victory against regional opponent College of Charleston last time out on March 24.
Freshman Jesse Hollins leads the Chants with a 9-2 singles record and is on a nine-match winning streak and leads the conference in singles wins with five heading into action this weekend, while sophomore Victoire De Samucewicz is on a six-match winning streak of her own and leads the conference in singles wins at the No. 4 Spot.
Georgia State enters the weekend on a seven-match losing streak and a 2-12 (0-5 SBC) overall record and having lost 4-0 to South Alabama last time out on March 21.
Georgia Southern enters the meeting with a 10-8 (2-3 SBC) record on the year after blanking Mercer in their last dual action 4-0 on March 24. The Eagles will enter the match on a two-match winning streak of their own.
