Men's Soccer to Host College of Charleston

CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina men's soccer program will continue its spring season when the Chanticleers host the College of Charleston on Sunday, March 7 at 1 p.m. ET at the CCU Soccer Stadium.

The Chants (6-2-1) and Cougars (0-0-2) have met 31 times on the pitch with CCU holding an 18-9-4 lead in the series, with the Chants winning the past six meetings. There are only three teams the Chanticleers have faced more during their soccer history; they have played Winthrop 48 times, Radford 40 times, and UNC Asheville 37 times.

CCU has a 6-3-2 record against the Cougars in Conway, while they have a 10-6-2 record in Mt. Pleasant. CCU has won both of the neutral site matches.

CCU is looking for its first win this spring after falling to highly-ranked Virginia Tech back on Feb. 28. The College of Charleston did not play in the fall and is also looking for its first win this spring after picking up 0-0 draws at Jacksonville and against North Carolina Wesleyan.

The event will be broadcast on ESPN+ (subscription required). Live stats for the event will also be available at www.goccusports.com.
