Women’s Tennis to Host Charlotte on Sunday

CONWAY, S.C. - The Coastal Carolina women's tennis team will return to the Stevens Tennis Complex for a match against regional opponent Charlotte on Sunday, April 11 with a first serve scheduled for 10 a.m. ET.
It will be Senior Day for the Chanticleers, as Kristyna Jurkova, Jessie Mount, and Somer Dalla-Bona will all be honored prior to the match.
Fans will be allowed.
Health and safety protocols for attendance will remain in place to include, but not limited to:
Coastal Carolina University and the Department of Athletics is committed to providing a safe environment for the enjoyment of our patrons that attend our home intercollegiate athletic events. Individuals that disregard health and safety protocols may be asked to leave.
The Chanticleers enter the matchup with a 13-5 overall record. The Chants are coming off a 4-2 win on the road versus Appalachian State on Wednesday, April 7.
The Chants are led by freshmen Jesse Hollins who has a 12-3 overall record in singles action, while seniors Jurkova and Mount enter the weekend action on three-match winning streaks.
Charlotte enters the meeting with an 18-6 record on the year and is coming off a 4-0 sweep against Appalachian State on April 9. The 49ers have been ranked in the top-50 this season in the ITA Women's Tennis NCAA Division I rankings and received votes in this week's poll.
Coastal and Charlotte have met 24 times in women's tennis action. The Chants hold a 14-10 advantage against the 49ers.
