CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina volleyball team will return to the HTC Center to wrap up the 2022 regular-season schedule versus the Texas State Bobcats for a pair of Sun Belt Conference contests in Conway, S.C. Both teams will meet on Thursday, Nov. 10, at 6 p.m. ET, and again on Friday, Nov. 11, at 1 p.m. ET.

Christina Nance,
Paulina Perez Rosas, and
Ella Saada, on Friday, Nov. 11, as the trio will close out their collegiate careers at the conclusion of the 2022 season.
HISTORY BETWEEN COASTAL & TEXAS STATE
Texas State leads the overall series 7-3 and is currently riding a six-match winning streak. The Chanticleers were swept in the last meeting between the two programs in the 2021 Sun Belt Conference Volleyball Championship semifinals.
ABOUT COASTAL
The Chanticleers enter the weekend at 17-10 overall and 9-5 in Sun Belt action on the season after dropping a pair of conference matches on the road at South Alabama last week. Outside hitter Saada led the Chants' offense with a total of 33 kills combined over both contests, while setter
Brigitta Petrenko tallied 65 assists, two kills, and three service aces.
Defensively, CCU blocked a combined 18 shots, as Nance and Petrenko paced the defense with 13 and seven blocks, respectively, while
Lina Perugini (30) and Perez Rosas (22) combined for 52 digs of the Chants' 100 total digs over the two matches.
This season, the Chants' offense has been led by Saada with 291 kills on the year, while Perez Rosas and
Agata Lesiak have added 226 and 139 spikes, respectively. Petrenko is the team's assists and service aces leader, as the Eger, Hungary, native has 906 assists and 48 service aces on the year.
Defensively, Coastal Carolina has totaled 225 blocks as a team, highlighted by Nance with a total of 82 blocks,
Nyla Shepherd with 69 blocks, and Petrenko and Perez Rosas with 52 and 36 blocks, respectively. Perugini has picked up 412 digs in the 101 sets played, giving the Bethlehem, Pa., native 1,613 career digs. Perugini currently sits third on CCU's all-time digs list.
ABOUT TEXAS STATE
The Bobcats will enter play this weekend with a 20-6 overall record and sit at 12-2 in Sun Belt play. Texas State won both of its matches last week versus Troy and already has clinched the Sun Belt Conference West Division title.
As a team, the Bobcats have recorded 1,369 kills, 1,284 assists, and 150 service aces on the offensive attack. Janell Fitzgerald leads the attack with 369 spikes, while Jada Gardner (202) and Lauren Teske (176) have both put down 175 or more kills on the year. Setter Emily DeWalt leads the SBC with 1,067 set assists, while Jillian Slaughter (25), Alyssa Ortega (24), and Teske (21) have 20 or more service aces overall on the season.
Defensively, Texas State has stopped 199 kill attempts at the net, while also digging 1,390 of their opponents' shots. The net is protected by Slaughter (75), Tessa Marshall (71), and Fitzgerald (58), as they are the only Bobcat blockers with 58 or more stops on the season. DeWalt leads the team with 227 digs, along with Fitzgerald and Ortega, who have added 226 and 192 digs, respectively.
