The first-ever three-time Sun Belt Conference Offensive Player of the Year and three-time first-team All-Sun Belt honoree, McCall also earned a spot on the Davey O'Brien QB Class of 2022 list, the 2022 Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award Top 25 list, and the 2022 CFPA National Performer of the Year Trophy watch list.
He was also named The Draft Network Sun Belt Conference Offensive Player of the Year and picked up Pro Football Focus (PFF) All-Sun Belt first-team honors as well.
After missing the last two games of the regular season, McCall returned to the field for the Chants for the 2022 Hercules Tires Sun Belt Conference Championship game, going 29-of-41 through the air with 319 passing yards, one interception, and three touchdowns passes. He also rushed 11 times for 18 yards and a score in the loss.
This season, McCall's 24 touchdowns to two interceptions ratio is among the leaders in all of FBS, while he has also thrown a touchdown pass in 23-straight games dating back two years. He also threw for over 245 yards in eight of 10 games played this year and had three touchdowns tosses in six different games on the season.

A two-time All-Sun Belt second-team selection each of the last two seasons, Lampkin picked up first-team all-conference accolades this year. He was also named the 2022 Sun Belt Conference Offensive Lineman of the Year by College Football Network (CFN) and picked up All-Sun Belt first-team honors from both CFN and PFF.
Making the move from guard to center this year, Lampkin has made 12 starts this year to extend his streak to 37 consecutive starts for his CCU career.
Named to the Rimington Trophy watch list, the junior was the top-graded offensive lineman for CCU in eight of the 12 games on the year, grading out at 85 percent or higher in all 12 contests. He has totaled 41 knockdown blocks this year, including a season-high 11 in the season-opening win over Army (Sept. 3). He also added six knockdown blocks in the Sun Belt Championship game versus Troy (Dec. 3) and had three takedown blocks in wins at Georgia State (Sept. 22), at ULM (Oct. 8) and against ODU (Oct. 15).
JT Killen – Phil Steele Sun Belt All-Conference Second Team
Named to the All-Sun Belt third team, Killen picked up his first all-conference honor this season after sitting behind All-Sun Belt linebackers
Silas Kelly and
Teddy Gallagher for three years. Killen has made his mark this year in leading the CCU defense, as he has a team-high 90 total tackles and ranks in the top six on the team in tackles-for-loss (6.0), sacks (2.5), and pass breakups (4) while also adding two quarterback hurries, a forced fumble, and a team-high three fumble recoveries.
He ranks ninth in the Sun Belt in total tackles (90) and fourth in assisted tackles (64), as he is always around the football. His three fumble recoveries are tied for tops in the league.
Sam Pinckney – Phil Steele Sun Belt All-Conference Third Team
A newcomer to the Chants but not to the league, Pinckney picked up All-Sun Belt Conference honors from the league's coaches for the second time in his career with his third-team recognition. He earned second-team honors in 2020 while at Georgia State.
The graduate transfer, who was also named to the CFN All-Sun Belt second team, has made an impact in his first year at Coastal this season, as the veteran receiver leads the Chants with 67 receptions, 917 receiving yards, and an average of 76.4 yards per game. He also has three receiving touchdowns on the year.
His 76.4 receiving yards per game average ranks fourth in the SBC and 44th nationally, while he ranks fourth in the SBC in receiving yards (917) and fifth in receptions per game (5.6). His 41 catches in SBC play were tied for third in the league, while his 577 receiving yards in league play ranked eighth.
Named to the 2022 Biletnikoff Award watch list, Pinckney has had at least one catch in all 12 games this season and totaled 100-plus receiving yards in wins over Buffalo (Sept. 17), ULM (Oct. 8), Old Dominion (Oct. 15), and Southern Miss (Nov. 12).
With his four 100-yard receiving games this year, he is one of only six players in the Sun Belt Conference to do that, after having five 100-yard receiving games in four years at Georgia State (2017-20).
Jerrod Clark – Phil Steele Sun Belt All-Conference Third Team
A third-team honoree by both the Sun Belt Conference and PFF, the team captain garnered all-conference honors for the first time in his career this season. He was also named honorable mention by CFN and picked up an invite to play in the East-West Shrine Bowl in January.
The nose tackle is seventh on the team with 41 total tackles and tied for the team lead with 10.0 tackles-for-loss. He also has 3.5 sacks, five quarterback hurries, and one blocked kick, a field goal attempt at James Madison (Nov. 26).
The big man in the middle has been a force all season long on the defensive front for CCU despite not filling up the stat sheet each week. He has been the key to the CCU defense holding six teams to under 100 yards rushing as a team for the game this season, including in SBC play versus Georgia State (Sept. 22), Marshall (Oct. 29), App State (Nov. 3), and Southern Miss (Nov. 12), and against Troy (Dec. 3) in the 2022 Hercules Tires Sun Belt Conference Championship game.
Josaiah Stewart – Phil Steele Sun Belt All-Conference Third Team
Picking up his second All-Sun Belt honor this year, earning second-team recognition this year after garnering first-team honors after a record-setting freshman season last year, Stewart was also named to the CFN first-team All-Sun Belt team and the PFF All-Sun Belt third team.
Making a position change from defensive end to bandit end this year, Stewart has seen teams game plan for him all year long as he has received a double team or an extra blocker over 85 percent of the time this season. He is tied for the team lead with 10.0 tackles-for-loss and third with 3.5 sacks to go along with five quarterback hurries, a forced fumble, a pass breakup, and 36 total tackles, including 15 solo stops.

Despite missing a game due to a concussion, he is second on the team with 58 tackles and leads the Chants' defense with eight pass breakups and 10 passes defended. He is also tied for the team lead with two interceptions, while also adding 1.5 tackles-for-loss, 1.0 sack, and one forced fumble on the year.
Matthew McDoom – Phil Steele Sun Belt All-Conference Third Team
Named a CFN All-Sun Belt honorable mention specialist, McDoom led the Chants' return game with 20 kickoff returns for 451 yards and a touchdown. He averaged 22.6 yards per kickoff return this season, which included a 95-yard touchdown return in the week two win over Gardner-Webb on Sept. 10.
The true freshman's 451 combined kick return yards are the third-most in the Sun Belt and rank 27th nationally, while his kick return average of 22.6 yards ranks third in the conference and 26th in all of FBS.
McDoom, who is one of just 27 student-athletes to return a kickoff for a touchdown this season, recorded the first kickoff return for a touchdown for the Chanticleers since Ky'Jon Tyler returned one for a touchdown versus Hampton in 2016. It was also the longest kick return for the Chanticleers since Tyler had a 50-yard kickoff return versus Troy in 2017 and was tied for the fifth-longest scoring play in Coastal Carolina program history.
He also earned Sun Belt Conference Special Teams Player of the Week honors on Sept. 12.

Each one of his touchdowns has been longer than 30 yards or more on the year.
