Head Coach
Cliff Ellis is looking to pick up career win No. 900 with a victory over the Royals, becoming the third active collegiate coach to have 900 wins. He would also become just the seventh coach in the NCAA Division I coaching ranks to have 900 career wins, joining Mike Krzyzewski, Jim Boeheim, Jim Calhoun, Bob Huggins, Roy Williams, and Bob Knight.
After consecutive road contests, the Chants (4-4) will look to pick up their fourth win on their home court, while the Royals (1-3) will look for their first road victory of the season.
